The hotel in Gillette had an indoor pool & playground, which was a welcome little treat at the end of a long day
of driving (We should've gone thru no-speed-limit Montana but Daddy had to go thru Yellowstone again!). We kicked back,
swam, ate, and enjoyed a break from the car. In the a.m., we headed off for Devil's Tower, made famous by the movie
"Close Encounters of the Third Kind." We watched the movie before we left for our trip and were excited to see it in
person. Happy to report, no aliens present...that we could see! (I wouldn't look anyway cuz I don't wanna get
sucked up into any ships!)
